Product Testing Machine

 

 

Brief:

To design and manufacture an automated product quality testing machine to replace manual methods of testing.

 

Purpose:

To carry out four different tests on assembled products to test for any leakages and/or faulty parts.

 

Solution:

An automated machine that holds and tests the product for low and high pressure leaks in open and closed positions. It also tests for actuation torque load on the product handle.

 

This machine successfully gave more accurate leak readings than the old slow water testing method. It allowed our customer to:

1. Reduce labour costs
2. Raise throughput
3. Improve quality confidence.
