Catheter Machine

 

 

Brief:

To design and manufacture an automated catheter assembly machine which receives tube direct from the extrusion machine, autonomous feeding of the catheter head and presses the two components together.

 

Purpose:

The tube allows for the insertion of antibiotics.

 

The catheter head connects the syringe with the catheter allowing antibiotics to be administered to treat for urinary treat infections in cattle.

 

Solution:

An automated machine that integrates directly with the tube extrusion machine, combining variable sized tubes with the catheter head.

 

The catheter machine allowed our customer to:

1. Reduce labour costs
2. Raise throughput
3. Improve quality confidence.
